From a young age, Olamide was obsessed with one question,

A Message From Olamide

In life, sometimes you will feel like everything is going as planned. But I was afraid of one thing, “What if I get overconfident on a trade and lose everything?” This was like the worst possible scenario. And… It happened (September 12, 2011).

One reckless and overconfident trade without risk management. It was enough to wipe out my rent money, my savings and it felt like God personally decided to humble me. I mean, I thought you could make easy money while trading forex!

Was I wrong? Or, were the so-called gurus whom I learned from? And the 2nd one is true. I had to learn the hard truth the hard way. Those gurus never talked about the restless nights, the anxiety, and the ongoing self-doubt that haunted me after every loss.

But on September 12, 2011, the loss was different. To put it in another way, it felt like a relentless tide came and washed away the sandcastle I tried so hard to build from the beginning of my life. At that point I realized…

“A rich man is nothing but a poor man with money.”

Sure, I lost a huge chunk of my fortune, but I didn't give up. Well… To be honest, I actually couldn't give up. My back was against the wall, I had to feed my family no matter what, I had to make sure that everything went back to normal again.

So, for 3 years, I locked in to know more about trading psychology, I tested many strategies and failed countless times. But each failure was a lesson, making me one step closer to trade like a pro. Looking back now, I think it was all worth it. Those sleepless nights, constant anxiety and self criticism.

And I realized one crucial thing, If put on a scale, I can for sure say that, Those 3 years of knowledge are gonna outweigh my entire educational qualification. And those 3 years of knowledge helps me even today, after 11 years.

And I decided to share everything I learned throughout my life in my broker reviews, market news, trading blogs, and promotional offers. Because I was in your shoes, I know how self-excruciating it is after losing a trade and I am not like those gurus who spout motivation every time.
