A full, plain-language explanation of how this website earns revenue โ and why it never influences our editorial output.
TopAsiaFX earns revenue in two ways: affiliate commissions (paid by brokers when a reader opens an account via our tracked links) and display advertising (banner placements and sponsored content from brokers and financial service providers).
All of our content โ broker reviews, rankings, comparison tools, guides โ is free to access for every reader. We do not charge subscription fees. We do not sell your data. Our revenue model is built entirely on the two commercial relationships described on this page, both of which are fully disclosed.
This page explains exactly how each revenue stream works, what limits we place on commercial relationships to protect our editorial independence, and what it means for you as a reader.
Independent financial media has a trust problem. Many forex comparison and review websites present themselves as neutral while being heavily influenced โ or outright controlled โ by the brokers they review. Readers deserve to know whether the site they are reading from has a financial interest in the recommendations it makes.
We believe the answer is not to pretend that commercial relationships do not exist โ they do, and they are how we fund the research and content that keeps this website running. The answer is complete transparency about exactly what those relationships are, and documented operational firewalls that prevent them from influencing editorial output.
This page is that transparency document. It is written for traders, not for search engines. If you finish reading it and still have questions, contact us directly at [email protected].
When a reader clicks a tracked link on TopAsiaFX and subsequently opens a trading account with a broker โ and in some cases makes a qualifying deposit โ the broker pays TopAsiaFX a commission. This commission comes entirely from the broker. It does not cost the reader anything, and it does not affect the trading conditions, spreads, or fees the reader receives from the broker.
Brokers and financial service providers can purchase advertising space on TopAsiaFX. This includes banner placements on review and comparison pages, sponsored content articles (clearly labelled as sponsored), and retargeting pixel placements that allow advertisers to reach our audience via their own paid media campaigns after a visitor leaves our site.
The following are never paywalled, never restricted, and never dependent on the reader taking any commercial action:
We provide free content because our business model depends on readers trusting what we publish. A reader who trusts our reviews is more likely to use our links. That trust is built by giving honest, independent information โ not by steering readers toward whichever broker pays us most.
The most important structural safeguard in our business model is the separation between the editorial team and the commercial team.
Commercial partners โ whether affiliate brokers, display advertisers, or sponsored content clients โ explicitly cannot:
We distinguish between two types of commercial influence on content: prohibited influence (affecting scores, rankings by merit, or editorial wording) and permitted and disclosed placement (where a commercial arrangement affects the position or highlighting of a broker in a list, clearly labelled).
In certain contexts โ particularly broker comparison tables and category landing pages โ a broker may pay for a higher or highlighted position in a list. Where this occurs:
Paid placement affects position in certain lists โ it does not affect the score a broker earns through our methodology, the content of its review, or its eligibility to appear in editorial rankings based on merit.
Where no paid placement arrangement is in effect, brokers appear in order of their editorial score as determined by our methodology. Where paid placement affects ordering, this is stated near the table. Our Editorial Methodology page explains the scoring framework in full.
| Activity | Affiliate Partners | Advertisers | Non-partners |
|---|---|---|---|
| Included in broker reviews | โ | โ | โ |
| Eligible for editorial ranking by score | โ | โ | โ |
| Score influenced by commercial relationship | โ | โ | โ |
| Editorial wording approved by partner | โ | โ | โ |
| Negative content removed on request | โ | โ | โ |

| Tracked affiliate link on review page | โ | โ | โ |
| Banner or sponsored content placement | โ | โ | โ |
| Retargeting pixel placement permitted | โ | โ | โ |
| Commercial relationship disclosed to reader | โ | โ | N/A โ no relationship |
โ = Yes โ = No โ = Not applicable
Using TopAsiaFX costs you nothing. There are no fees, subscriptions, or hidden charges for any reader.
When you click an affiliate link and open an account with a broker:
Knowing our revenue model, here is how to approach our content as an informed reader:
Every broker review is based on our Editorial Methodology and scored independently of commercial status. A broker that is an affiliate partner is reviewed and scored by the same criteria as a broker that has no commercial relationship with us. Check the ‘Last Updated’ date โ we update reviews when trading conditions or regulatory status change.
Editorial rankings โ ‘Best Brokers in Bangladesh’, ‘Best MT5 Brokers in Asia’ โ are determined by methodology scores. Where paid placement affects the order of a list, you will see a label near the table. Our Advertiser Disclosure lists all brokers with whom we have commercial relationships.
Affiliate links are labelled near the link itself. If you prefer not to use them, you can navigate directly to any broker’s website. Using our links helps us fund the research that keeps this site running โ but it is always your choice.
Sponsored articles and brand features are labelled ‘Sponsored’ or ‘Advertisement’ at the top of the page and are visually distinct from standard editorial content. They are reviewed for factual accuracy but are not independent editorial assessments.
No. We do not accept payment in exchange for favourable review wording, higher scores, or endorsement. Our review and scoring process is governed by our published methodology, which applies identically to all brokers regardless of commercial status.
No. Factually accurate negative information is not removed or modified as a result of commercial arrangements. If a broker improves its services and the improvement is verified, we update the review to reflect that โ but the trigger is the factual change, not a commercial request.
No, with one limited exception: paid placement, which is always labelled. Editorial rankings are based on methodology scores. Paid placement may affect position in certain list formats โ this is disclosed clearly near the element where it applies.
Our Advertiser Disclosure page lists all brokers and financial service providers with whom TopAsiaFX has a current affiliate or advertising relationship. This list is updated regularly.
A cookie may be set when you click an affiliate link. If you do not open an account or take a qualifying action, no commission is earned and no data about your trading activity is shared with us. Our Privacy Policy explains how tracking works and how to opt out.
