easyMarkets Overview

easyMarkets broker has been in the game since 2001 and is fully regulated in Europe (CySEC) and Australia (ASIC). That already gave me some peace of mind. But the most clickable part is,

They’ve got a deal cancellation feature that literally lets you cancel a losing trade within 1 to 6 hours. It’s like you can undo a trade if you messed up. That’s rare.

Also, Then there’s a feature called Forward Deals, which allows you to lock in today’s price but set the trade to open at a future date. They’re hosting an event called the xBar Cup 2025, which combines freestyle football and trading in a single creative competition.

Yeah, finance and football. Never thought I’d say those two in the same sentence, but here we are.

easyMarkets has 3 types of accounts..

  1. Standard account
  2. Premium account
  3. VIP account

Each account was designed for a different type of trader and offers different benefits.

easyMarkets Minimum Deposit, Withdrawal

Minimum Deposit

The minimum deposit at easyMarkets depends on which account type you choose. For the Standard account, you can get started with just $25. The Premium account requires a $1,000 deposit, offering more features and support.

But If you're going all in, the VIP account starts at $10,000 and comes with extra perks. Vip accounts are made for.

Withdrawal

There’s no minimum withdrawal amount if you're using credit/debit cards or eWallets. You can withdraw as little as you like. But if you're withdrawing to a bank account, the minimum is $50. Just something to keep in mind when choosing your withdrawal method.

easyMarkets Trading Platforms & Fees

Regulation
  • ( ASIC , CySEC )

  • No
Platforms
  • Web Platform, Mobile App, Tradingview, MT4, MT5

easyMarkets offers 5 different trading platforms. For intense,

  1. Web Platform
  2. Mobile App
  3. Tradingview
  4. Metatrader 4
  5. Metatrader 5

One of my favorite easyMarkets platforms is their Web Platform. It’s super clean, and runs smoothly right from your browser—no downloads needed.

What do I like most?

It gives you access to all their unique features like deal cancellation, Freeze Rate, and guaranteed stop-loss, all in one place. It’s perfect if you want to trade quickly without getting overwhelmed by technical stuff.

But don’t think other platforms are dull. They also have some eye catching features. Let’s walk through each of them one by one.

1. Web Platform

It’s perfect for beginners yet packed with pro-level features. You get fixed spreads, no deposit or withdrawal fees, and an optional Guaranteed Stop Loss. So, your stop lands exactly where you set it—no slippage surprises.

My favourite feature is, They’ve also rolled out AI-powered tools that deliver real-time market signals and personalised trading strategies right inside the web platform.

The Inside Viewer, which allows you to see what other traders are doing, is also helpful. It makes me keep my steps in check. And tight stop loss controls for precision risk management.

Plus, you’ve got everything from CFDs, options, to pending orders, all in one place—no downloads needed. Just open your browser and start trading smarter.

2. Mobile App

Available for both iOS and Android, the app provides full access to market news, price charts, trading signals, and a macroeconomic calendar, all within the app. It’s clean, responsive, and you can switch between light and dark mode depending on your vibe.

easyMarkets App

You get multiple trading options here:

  • Easytrade (Their No Spread, No Margin Feature)
  • Day Trade, Vanilla Options
  • Pending Orders

I especially like how you can use Payout Target to auto close your trade once it hits your goal. It is very hands off and smooth.

But heads up: While the app is intuitive, it may not satisfy hardcore chart lovers who want deep custom indicators or automated scripts. That’s where MT4/MT5 still win. Still, for fast, flexible, and full featured mobile trading, this app definitely delivers.

3. Tradingview

If you're into charts and community, trading through TradingView is a solid combo. The up to $2,000 welcome bonus is a nice incentive to get started (just check the terms).

You get access to over 275 instruments with tight fixed spreads, no commission, and negative balance protection. So, your risk stays controlled even if the market swings hard.

You can track prices, apply advanced indicators, share strategies, and place trades—all in one place. You can open a trade on TradingView and close it later using the app or web platform.

One drawback is that you can’t use TradingView’s full automation features, like Pine Script for custom bots or advanced backtesting.

4. Metatrader 4

You get access to 150+ markets, including forex, commodities, indices, shares, and even crypto—all with tight fixed spreads and no requotes, even during high volatility. MT4 also supports Expert Advisors (EAs). So, MT4 login makes my trading so smooth.

easyMarkets MT4

So, if you’re into automation or backtesting, you’re covered, with over 20 years of historical data to work with.

The platform itself is super customizable. You can also take advantage of one-click CFD trading, built-in indicators, and the ability to create or import trading templates.

The downside?

The dynamic leverage model can be tricky. It can reach 1:400. As your account equity grows, your leverage automatically drops, which might catch some traders off guard if they're not paying attention to tier levels.

5. Metatrader 5

If you're after speed, flexibility, and high leverage, MT5 ticks all the boxes.

You can trade with leverage up to 1:2000, access 21 timeframes, use 38 built in indicators, and run Expert Advisors (EAs) for automated strategies. It’s available on desktop, mobile, and web, plus you can download 20+ years of historical data for backtesting.

easyMarkets MT5

Source: easyMarkets

Unlike MT4, MT5 uses variable spreads starting from 0.7 pips, which can work in your favor during calm markets. There's also negative balance protection and zero commission or hidden fees, so you know what you're paying upfront.

Now, the twist:

MT5 also uses dynamic leverage, meaning the more equity you have, the lower your max leverage becomes. And since spreads are variable, you may encounter slippage during periods of high volatility, which could disrupt tight strategies.

Still, if you're an advanced trader who wants cutting edge tools and higher leverage options, MT5 with easyMarkets gives you a lot of room to work.

easyMarkets Fees & Leverage

easyMarkets Fees

easyMarkets don’t charge any commissions on trades, and you can choose between fixed or variable spreads depending on the platform you use. However, if your account sits idle for 12 straight months, a $25 inactivity fee kicks in and is charged every 6 months after that. So if you plan to step away from trading for a while, just keep that in mind.

easyMarkets Leverage

easyMarkets offers flexible leverage, but the amount you receive depends on the platform you're using and your account location.

  • On MT4, you can trade with up to 1:400 leverage.
  • On MT5, leverage goes much higher, up to 1:2000, depending on your account equity
  • On their Web and App platforms, leverage is also available, though typically more limited compared to MT5.

They also use dynamic leverage, meaning the more money you have in your account, the lower your maximum leverage becomes. This helps reduce risk for larger accounts.

Important: If you're based in Europe or Australia, your leverage will be capped much lower due to regulatory rules (usually around 1:30 for major forex pairs).

easyMarkets Top Features

New traders always gravitate towards features that are unique from others. That totally makes sense, too. Since the market is filled with so many brokers, why choose this one over the others? Well, easyMarket has so many reasons to choose it. For intense:

  • No Commissions.
  • 275+ CFD Markets.
  • easyMarkets AI.
  • There is a tool that allows you to cancel a losing trade within a specified time frame (1, 3, or 6 hours) for a small fee.
  • Guaranteed Stop Loss.
  • Fixed Spreads.

Those are enough reasons to give this broker a chance! What do you say?

Here’s how their regulation breaks down:

easyMarkets User Experience

One thing I noticed after using easyMarkets for a while is how stable the platform is during news spikes. I’ve had trades on during major events like NFP or CPI drops, and surprisingly. No platform crashes or weird freezes, unlike some other brokers.

Customer service isn’t just fast. They actually follow up. I had an issue with a delayed bank withdrawal once, and they emailed me before I even contacted them to let me know it was being processed late due to a provider issue.

Final Thoughts

After using easyMarkets for a while, what really stands out isn’t just the tools. It’s the small thoughtful details: no annoying upsell emails, a platform that doesn’t glitch during news spikes, and real human support that follows up without you chasing them.

Average Experience for Beginners

easyMarkets is okay for trading, but beginners might find it a bit confusing at first. Fees are fair, and withdrawals are mostly smooth, but support isn’t always immediate.

Decent Broker, Mobile App Needs Work

The desktop platform works well, but the mobile app can lag sometimes. Withdrawals are okay, and support is responsive, but the app could use more features.
