OANDA pays both the referrer and the referred friend a cash reward once the friend opens a live account, deposits a qualifying amount, and trades the required notional volume within 30 days of their first trade.
The reward scales with the deposit and volume, starting from US$50 each at the entry level and reaching US$1,000 each at the top tier.

Once your friend receives the referral email and clicks through, three things need to happen before either of you gets paid:
The notional volume threshold depends on how much your friend deposits. A US$200 deposit requires US$200,000 in notional volume traded within 30 days. Depositing more unlocks a higher reward tier and a higher volume target.

Both you and your friend receive the same reward amount once the conditions for your friend's tier are met.

The standard refer-a-friend program allows up to 15 referrals per account. Each qualifying referral is treated independently, so you receive a reward for each one that completes the conditions, up to that cap.
