Hello! Welcome to TopAsiaFX. I am Agent Merina, your dedicated support assistant. How can I help you today?

If you're thinking about trading with IUX, the good news is that setting up an account only takes a few minutes. You don't need any special knowledge to get started, just your Member Area login and a few details about yourself.

If you want a closer look at the broker itself before signing up, check out this IUX review.

Here's how to do it, from start to finish.

First, Decide: Real or Demo?

Before you touch anything, figure out what you actually want right now.

A real account trades with your own money in the live market. A demo account uses virtual money, so you can get a feel for things without any real risk.

The setup process is the same either way. If you're new to trading, there's nothing wrong with starting on demo and moving to a real account once you're comfortable with how everything works.

Get Your Member Area Set Up First

Everything in IUX runs through the Member Area, so you'll need one before you can open a trading account. If you haven't registered yet, do that first. You'll create a login, verify who you are, and (if you're planning to trade live) make a deposit.

Once that's sorted, you're ready for the part below.

Creating Your Account, Step by Step

  1. Log in to your IUX Member Area.
  2. Go to Accounts.
  3. Choose an account type: Standard, Pro, or Raw.
  4. Decide between real and demo, click Create Real Account for live trading, or Try Demo if you just want to practice.
  5. Pick your leverage. This decides how much buying power your money gives you.
  6. Set a trading password (different from your Member Area password, so don't forget it).
  7. Confirm everything, and you're in.

That's genuinely all it takes.

So Which Account Type Is Right for You?

IUX offers three account types, and they're built for different kinds of traders.

Standard keeps things simple. The cost is baked into the spread, and there's no separate commission. If you're just starting out, this is probably where you belong.

Pro is aimed at people who trade more often. Spreads tend to be tighter than Standard.

Raw strips spreads down close to zero, but you pay a small commission on each trade instead. It suits traders who are active and paying close attention to costs.

One thing worth knowing: minimum deposits, spreads, and leverage caps can change depending on your account type, your country, and which IUX entity you're registered under (this comes down to local regulation). Since these details shift, it's always best to check the current numbers directly on IUX's website, or ask their support team, before you deposit anything.

Verifying Who You Are (KYC)?

Before you can move real money, IUX has to confirm your identity. This isn't an IUX-specific hurdle; every regulated broker does this. You'll usually need:

  • A government ID, like a passport or national ID card
  • Proof of address, such as a recent bill or bank statement

Upload both in your Member Area, and once they're approved, your real account is free to deposit and withdraw. If you're only using a demo account, you can skip this entirely since no real money is involved.

A Word on Leverage

Leverage means you can control a bigger position than your account balance alone would allow. IUX offers high leverage, though the exact cap depends on your account entity and where you're based.

Here's the honest part: more leverage isn't automatically a good thing. It magnifies your losses just as much as your gains. If you're new, it's smarter to start with lower leverage and smaller trade sizes until you understand how quickly things can move.

If You Need a Swap-Free Account

Some traders can't pay or receive overnight interest for religious reasons. IUX covers this with a swap-free (Islamic) account option, which you can turn on when you first sign up or request later. Everything else about the account works the same, you just don't pay or earn interest for holding a position overnight.

Is Your Money Actually Safe?

This is a fair question to ask before you deposit anything. A few things worth checking:

  • Regulation – Which regulator oversees the specific IUX entity you're signing up with? Protections can vary depending on your region.
  • Segregated Funds – Does the broker keep client money separate from its own operating funds? That matters if the company ever runs into financial trouble.
  • Negative Balance Protection – This stops your account from dropping below zero, so you can never lose more than you deposited.

None of this erases the actual risk of trading. Leveraged products can lose money fast, so only ever trade with money you're genuinely okay losing.

In Short

Opening an IUX account, real or demo, isn't complicated once your Member Area is set up. If you're new to trading, starting on demo is a smart, low-risk way to learn the ropes before you put real money on the line.

Questions People Usually Ask

Does a demo account expire?

Not by itself. It'll stay open as long as you're using it. If you leave it untouched for a long stretch, the system might deactivate it, but opening a fresh one takes barely a minute.

Can I top up my demo balance?

No, you can't add funds to an existing demo account. If you want a different starting balance, open a new one instead. You can have up to 6 demo accounts running at once.

Is demo trading actually like real trading?

Pretty much. Prices, spreads, and execution speed are designed to mirror live market conditions as closely as possible, so you're not in for a surprise when you switch to a real account.

Can I withdraw profits from a demo account?

No. Demo money isn't real, it exists purely for practice. To withdraw anything, you'll need a funded real account.

Where do I find my demo account's server name?

It's on the Account Card for that specific demo account. You'll need it to log in through MT5. If you don't have MT5 installed yet, just search "MetaTrader 5" on the App Store or Google Play.

I've hit the 6-demo-account limit. What now?

Delete one you're not using from the account management page, and you'll have room for a new one.

Can I have more than one real account?

Yes. You can run multiple real accounts across different account types if you want to keep strategies separate. You won't need to redo your identity verification once you're already approved.

Can a demo account turn into a real one?

Not automatically. A demo account is only for practice. When you're ready to go live, you just create a separate real account using the same steps above.
