MT5 is the most popular trading platform. But when it's time to connect the MT5 server to LiteFinance, new traders lose their patience. But if you do it with a clear mind, then it’s easy like apple pie.
3 easy steps. To connect LiteFinance to MT5, download the MT5 platform, log in using your Lite Finance account credentials, and select the correct Lite Finance server.
Yeah, I get it—it sounds simple.
However, if you've never done it before, the process can feel somewhat confusing. So here I am, showing you exactly how to get it done.
Connect LiteFinance To MT5 on A Laptop In 3 Steps
To connect Lifefinance to MT5, you need 5 minutes and follow 5 steps with the right password and account details. Here is what you gotta do:
Step 1: LiteFinance MT5 Download
First, stop downloading the MT5. Now, the MT5 LiteFinance download works differently on different devices. For example -
For Windows or macOS
Head over to the official MT5 download page. Then, click the download link that matches your system—Windows or macOS.
Once it’s downloaded, run the installer. Follow the setup steps—it’s quick. Launch MT5 and log in using your Lite Finance account details.
This sounds obvious. But seriously, don’t forget them. I once did. And I had to just reset them directly on the official website.
Better safe than locked out like me.
Step 2: Find The Broker
To do that, right-click on “Accounts” in the Navigator panel then click “Open an Account”.
Then, in the search bar, type 'LiteFinance Global LLC' and select it, then click Next.
Step 3: Connect To Your Existing Account
Choose “Connect with existing trade account”. Enter your login (account number).
Then type in your password. Select the correct server: LiteFinance-MT5. Click Finish.
You’ll hear that signature “whoosh” sound—yep, you're in the MT5! All ready to trade.
How To Connect LiteFinance To MT5 Android?
Some of you like to do all the work on your phone. And honestly, I do too. Cause why not? It’s so handy! I became more accustomed to it after using MT5 on my phone.
Here is how I connect it:
Step 1: Go to “Trading Accounts”
In the menu, tap on “Trading Accounts.” This will display all your accounts. If you see an MT4 account, you’ll need to create a new MT5 account.
In this case, I already have a LiteFinance-MT5-Demo account. Because it is perfect for practice.
Step 2: For Android Devices
Open the Google Play Store or you can click from the website too.
Step 3: Copy Your Server Login & Set Your Trader Password
Once you’re in your MT5 account details, take note of the following two things:
- Server login (Account number) – This is auto-generated.
- Trader password – You’ll need to create this.
But remember,
Your trader password needs to be strong. That means it must include:
- Uppercase letters
- Lowercase letters
- Numbers
- A special character (like @, #, !)
Example: Student@123 ✅
Once you create the password, tap Save. Now you’re almost there.
Step 4: Open the MT5 App
Launch the MT5 app (download it if you haven’t already). The first time you open it, you may be prompted to accept the terms. Go ahead and tap Accept.
It will try to get you to open a new demo account—skip that. We’re using an existing one.
Step 5: Search for LiteFinance
Tap “Find Broker” and search for LiteFinance. Choose “LiteFinanceGlobal-MT5” (or select your correct server: MT5 live, MT5 demo, etc.).
Step 6: Log In with Your Details
- Enter the server login (the number you saved earlier)
- Paste in your trader password
- Choose whether to save your password, then tap Login
Give it a few seconds, and you’re connected.
Then click on Install. Open the app and log in with your account. And now you’ve got trading on the go. The steps are pretty much the same with iOS too.
Done downloading it. Now, have your login & password ready.
Final Thoughts
Once you're logged in, your MT5 platform is fully activated. You can now place trades, view charts, or just explore the interface.
If it asks for permissions again the first time you try something, just hit Accept—you won’t see it again after that.
