Hello! Welcome to TopAsiaFX. I am Agent Merina, your dedicated support assistant. How can I help you today?

IUX keeps its account choices simple once you know what each one actually gives you. There are three live accounts, Standard, Pro, and Raw, a free Demo account for practice, and an Islamic swap-free option you can add on top. Let's go through each one in plain terms.

For a deeper look at IUX as a broker, regulation, fees, real user experiences and all, this IUX review from TopAsiaFX covers it well.

Demo Account

This is where most beginners start. It uses virtual money instead of real cash, but the prices and execution match live market conditions, so what you practice on feels close to the real thing.

It costs nothing to open, comes with the full 1:3000 leverage option, and lets you get used to the platform before any real money is involved.

Standard Account

This is IUX's entry-level live account, and it's the easiest one to start with. The minimum deposit is $50, spreads start from 0.2 pips, and there's no commission charged.

You can trade lot sizes as small as 0.01, and leverage goes up to 1:3000. Since the cost is built into the spread, there's nothing extra to calculate, which makes it a good pick if you're new to trading.

Pro Account

Pro is aimed at traders who want tighter spreads but still prefer a commission-free setup. The minimum deposit is $200, spreads start from 0.1 pips, and like Standard, there's no added commission.

Leverage stays at 1:3000, and the minimum trade size is still 0.01 lots. It suits traders who place enough trades that the tighter spread actually makes a difference to their overall cost.

Raw Account

Raw is built for traders chasing the lowest possible spread, think scalpers or high-frequency traders. Spreads start from 0.0 pips, but you'll pay a commission instead, typically around $7 per lot.

The minimum deposit is $200, and leverage still goes up to 1:3000. At high trading volumes, the tighter spread usually more than makes up for the commission cost.

Islamic (Swap-Free) Account

Here's something worth clearing up: Islamic isn't a separate account type on its own. It's an add-on you can apply to your Standard, Pro, or Raw account, which removes the swap fee normally charged for holding a position open overnight. This follows Sharia trading principles, and you can request it once your account is set up and verified.

What's the Same Across Every Account?

No matter which one you choose, you get access to MT5, IUX's own Trade App, and its WebTerminal, though it's worth knowing IUX doesn't support MT4 at all.

Every account also comes with negative balance protection, so you can't lose more than you deposit, no internal fees on deposits or withdrawals, and support for scalping, hedging, and automated trading through Expert Advisors. Execution speed tends to run fast too, often reported around 30 milliseconds.

What IUX Doesn't Offer?

It's worth knowing the gaps too. IUX doesn't currently provide copy trading, VPS hosting, or built-in trading signals, and its educational content is fairly limited compared to some other brokers. If you're someone who leans on tutorials or guided learning, you'll likely need to look elsewhere to supplement what IUX offers.

A Few Tips Before You Choose

  • Don't pick Raw just because the spread looks smallest. If you don't trade often, the per-lot commission can end up costing more than the wider spread on Standard would have. Match the account to how often you actually trade, not just the headline number.
  • Start with Demo even if you've traded elsewhere before. Every broker's execution and pricing behaves slightly differently, so a quick test run helps you spot anything unexpected before real money is on the line.
  • Double check the minimum deposit and fees listed for your specific country. IUX operates through a few different regulated entities, so the numbers you see can shift slightly depending on where you're signing up from.
  • Apply for the swap-free option early if you know you'll hold trades overnight. It's not automatic, so it's better to sort it out before you need it rather than after a swap fee already hits your account.
  • If you rely on tutorials or guided learning to improve, plan to supplement IUX's own resources with outside material, since its educational content is on the lighter side.

Which Account Should You Choose?

If you're brand new to trading, start with Demo, then move to Standard once you're ready to use real money. If you trade often and want lower ongoing costs without a commission, Pro is the better fit.

If you're experienced and trade at higher volume, Raw usually ends up cheaper overall despite the commission. And if you need swap-free trading, you can apply that on top of whichever account fits your style.

One thing to plan for: once your account is open, switching types usually means opening a new one rather than converting your existing account, so it's worth picking carefully from the start.
